During the writing of this book, I experienced one of my greatest life changes: motherhood. With my first daughter already in the world, and my second daughter growing inside me, yoga was my constant companion and was key to me being able to relish every step, every detail, every sensation. It also played a vital role in my pregnancy being a period of fulfilment in which I felt physically strong.

Yoga has been a part of my life for more than fifteen years, and I think that the time has come for me to share my experience. This is what drove me to create the book that I would have liked to stumble across when I was starting out in yoga; a book with a kind, simple and honest approach.
