I’m the first one trying on my designs. As a woman and a designer, I am able to understand, feel and appreciate the garment on myself before sharing it with you. Now, through this blog, I can also have your feedback.

The baggy dress I’m wearing is a prototype and it’s one of my favorite ‘work uniforms’. It has an austere pattern: oriental inspired while slightly ‘occidentalized’, bat sleeves and is made with a washed and imperfect cotton fabric. I like to be comfortable but I can’t help thinking about style. It’s my way to express how I feel in the present moment.

Although the aesthetics world is  subjective, I like to think that this look breaks up with the established canons. Why not? Why not call it ‘sophisticated sportive’? Every day I am more into mixing sportswear with streetwear. To create an authentic look, I say to myself: ‘Never sacrifice comfort and always run away from garments that make you feel like you’re wearing a costume’.
